Homeowner's Insurance
A homeowner's insurance policy is actually two insurance policies wrapped into one. One portion of your homeowner's policy covers your home, detached structures (like a shed or garage), possessions and the cost of living should a loss force you from your home. This is your property coverage.
The other portion of insurance policy covers your liability should someone be injured on or because of your property. This is referred to as your liability coverage.

CAR INSURANCE POLICIES CONSIST OF 5 BASIC PARTS:
Liability - Provides coverage for injury you may cause to someone and/or damage to someone else's property in an accident.
100/300 - translates up to $100,000 per person total, and up to $300,000 total per accident if there are multiple passangers in the vehicle.
Uninsured/Under-Insured Motorists -Provides medical coverage for you and your passangers if someone else hits you and does not have enough coverage to pay for expenses, or is not insured at all. This also includes hit-and-run scenarios as well. In addition to medical coverage this will help pay for lost wages if you are unable to return to work, modifications to your home if you need wheelchair accessible, pain and suffering.
Collision - Provides coverage for when your car is damaged in a collision.
Comprehensive - Provides coverage for damage caused by events other than a collisions, like fire, hail, vandalism or hitting an animal
Medical Payments - Provides coverage for you and your passangers if you are injured in your car regardless who is at fault.
