Coverage F: Medical Payments

Medical Payment Coverage provides reimbursement for medical expenses to guests that visit your home.  These payments are made regardless of a determination of your wrong-doing.  A person reviewing their medical payment coverage should inform their agent how often they host social events (big or small) as well as the types of events they host.

Three considerations:

1)  Medical Payment Coverage is not available to family members that live within the home.  It is only available for guests visiting the home.

2) This coverage usually is paid irregardless of homeowner wrongdoing and serves to maintain relationships that may be strained by an injury on your property.

3) Coverage F serves to reimburse the injured party for their medical expenses only.  This coverage will generally not reimburse someone for their pain and suffering, loss in income, etc.
